Desiree and Russ have created an environment at Benjamin Hair & Co that is professional and comfortable for their clients. Desiree is my stylist and colorist and always does an excellent job with my hair but also always takes the time to make sure I am happy with the results. Although I appreciate Desiree’s extensive knowledge and skill and her creativity and sense of personal style, what I enjoy the most with each visit is her friendly and caring personality. Benjamin Hair & Co is also a great place to have a facial. Mary is the best! I recommend this salon to anyone who wants a professional result and a positive experience with each visit.

I have been going to Loretta for the longest, and when she made the move to Benjamin Hair i was thrilled, what a very nice shop, very clean and a very relaxed atmosphere, Loretta really knows what she’s doing, very good with colors and cuts, she interacts with her clients and takes pride in her work, i would recommend her to anyone , i know you would be just as pleased as i am… thank you Loretta and Benjamin Hair co

I followed my hairstylist, Cherie Loomis to Benjamins. First, let me say, Cherie is worth following. She is great – listens to what you say, has good ideas and always does a super job. Additionally, she is a warm and fun person – genuinely nice. Next, I could not have been more pleased with the salon and the people I met there. Everyone was so nice and friendly. My visit was relaxing and everything is so nice inside. All in all, it was worth going the extra distance to continue with Cherie and to have my hair done in such a nice salon with such nice people. I don’t think you will be disappointed – I know I wasn’t! Thank you Cherie and thank you Benjamin Hair and Co.

My stylist moved over to Benjamin Hair & Co (from that oh so 80′s shop on Lockhill Selma) and I couldn’t be happier. The location is a more convenient for me and the salon is nice with a great relaxed atmosphere. If you need an experienced stylist & colorist than make an appointment at Benjamin Hair & Co. & ask for Cherie Loomis! She really knows her trade & best of all really listens to her client’s wishes. But she’s not afraid to tell you the truth if you’re going off in the wrong direction.

She is creative, precise and regularly attends shows and trainings to stay current!!!! Also, Elsa who does pedicures is awesome!!!!! They both get 5 platinum stars!!!! I would not think of going anywhere else! They are also very accomodating /w/ my hectic travel schedule-thank you desiree and elsa!!!!

I was looking for a new hairdresser closer to my new home and was recommended by the facialist at Benjamin’s to their hairstylist, Desiree. Mary’s hair was fantastic – so I made my first appointment and have been returning for 1 year!.. Desiree asks questions regarding what you want from a good haircut and how it will work with your lifestyle and time. She instructs you on techniques and different ways to style your hair. I have even called her on the phone when I am having a bad hair day and wanted to chop it all off – she said she would research a good cut and get back to me – being emotionally attached to my hair she understood that a drastic cut was not really what I was looking for – just a different way to fix it. My family and friends go to Desiree – she has my upmost endorsement!
I lived in italy and had a great barber who gave me haircuts for 10 years. When I came to San Antonio, I was shocked to get 2-3 of the worst haircuts. So I started travelling back to Italy every month just to get a haircut. You see I’m an International business man with hair that is very curly and most difficutl to handle. Then my wife started going with me to Italy to learn how to cut my hair from my Maestro. She learned the tricks and she started giving me haircuts. This has been going for 15 years.
Then 3 months ago I met Desiree and I was elated with her knowledge and professionalism . I just told her few word on how I like my hair to look. Mind you I did not have a haircut then for over 2 months. That first haircut was as good as 90% of my Italian Maestro’s. The second haircut was even better than what I used to have in Italy. I’m hooked now.
As for the pedicure and manicure, wow! Desiree is the best I have for a long time.
Desiree is my five star hairstylist now and for years to come , she is very sincere, pleasant and she is the best manacurist and Pedicurist. too. I highly recommend her.
I happened to drop into Benjamin Hair & Company on a visit to San Antonio when I needed a haircut. Desiree was available and I must say she is a wonderful person as well as an excellent stylist. She is so good that I now return to Benjamin Hair & Co. everytime I am in San Antonio.

Improvements to Benjamin Salon
